„Forms“ gagne Golden Nica @ PrixArs

Le projet „Formes“ est issu de la collaboration entre les artistes visuels Memo Akten et Quayola et représente une série d’études sur le mouvement humain et ses réverbérations à travers l’espace et le temps. Il est inspiré par les œuvres d’Eadweard Muybridge, Harold Edgerton, Étienne-Jules Marey, ainsi que par les œuvres modernistes-cubistes tels que „Nu descendant un escalier n° 2“ de Marcel Duchamp. Plutôt que de se concentrer sur les trajectoires facilement observables, il explore les techniques d’extrapolation afin de sculpter des formes abstraites, en rendant visible les relations invisibles – puissance, équilibre, grâce et conflit, entre le corps et son environnement.
